Pathways to Peace for Men is a halfway house located in Lake Worth, Florida. It provides a diverse and strong community for men 18 and older who are in the early stages of the recovery process.

Pathways to Peace is a little more structured than your typical halfway house. During the first 2 weeks at Pathways, residents are on the buddy system. Anytime they leave the property they must do so with their assigned buddy. This helps them adjust and provides extra support as they learn their way around the area. For the first 30 days, residents are required to attend a nightly 12 Step meeting with the Pathways to Peace manager. Transportation is provided on the Pathways to Peace van. After the 30 days, clients are still required to attend 12 Step meetings and can continue to go on the van but are able to attend meetings on their own if they prefer. There is also a 10:30 curfew in effect for the first 30 days. Management is onsite 24/7 and does regular drug testing multiple times each week. Clients who test positive for any substance—including new synthetic drugs such as Spice, Bath Salts and Kratom— are required to leave immediately.

Pathways has weekly house meetings that all residents must attend. This gives the halfway house community an opportunity to share their struggles, concerns and successes. Pathways believes that by providing a safe and supportive environment during the first several months of sobriety, men greatly increase their chances of experiencing lasting recovery. It is the chance for them to build a strong network of supports that will benefit them throughout their sobriety.
